DriPADs are non-woven disposable pads available in a variety of sizes. They are high performance super absorbent pads, and uniquely designed to absorb very large amounts of potentially infectious fluids - - more than 15x their weight of .9% normal saline, and 30x their weight in water.

This is accomplished by incorporating specially coated microscopic beads, or micro spheres, deep within the pad. These micro spheres draw the fluid away from the surface of the pad and trap it in the interior, so that the surface remains dry. A medium sized DriPAD can hold several liters of fluid without dripping! However, DriPADs do much more than absorb. They save you time and money, and protect your workers as well!

Why High Performance? In every DriPAD, Quellent incorporates, 1) a proprietary Stay-Put “sticky” coating on the Purple bio-barrier back to stabilize the pad, and prevent bunching under patients, and 2) a proprietary surfactant coating on the non-woven fabric cover to accelerate absorption. DriPADs stay where you put them!
